Duties/Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Billing Coordinator to be based in our Eastleigh office. 

Working hours: 8:00am -17:00pm

Accountable for the effective and timely invoicing of reactive works and providing support in the delivery of a professional financial administration service to our Clients, Managers and Engineers. 

  • Ensuring all completed jobs are processed for invoicing within 3 months of job completion:
  • Collating relevant information to prepare job packs and apply contract uplifts and rates
  • Liaising with customers for purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers/sub-contractors for worksheets and/or credit notes
  • Liaising with EMCOR Contract Managers to resolve queries
  • Maximising profitability, checking all necessary costs charged for works done
  • Identifying non chargeable items or loss making jobs and reporting to the Contract Managers when these arise
  • Ad hoc support of the Finance Team

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Some experience in admin/helpdesk role would be beneficial
  • Good IT skills, MS Excel knowledge an advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Numerical competence
  • Able to work under pressure and to defined deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a larger team as well as independently
  • Good time keeper
