Role Overview:
Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating health and safety during the construction phase of EMCOR UK project implementation.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Liaise with customers and their representatives.
Liaise with Principal Designers to ensure design and safety alignment.
Prepare Construction Phase Plans in accordance with CDM regulations.
Organise and manage contractors during the implementation phase, ensuring compliance with the project programme.
Conduct site inductions and start-up meetings.
Ensure the construction site is secure, well-maintained, and equipped with appropriate welfare facilities.
Consult regularly with the workforce on health and safety matters.
Support all phases of project implementation from initiation through to completion.
Assist in providing installation and commissioning documentation upon project completion.
Identify and report opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Manage the delivery of installations using recognised industry methods and techniques.
Adhere to safety regulations and apply best engineering and safety practices.
Participate in internal company training workshops.
Be willing to work in secure and sensitive environments as required.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on complex issues.
