Role overview:
You will support the growth of the commissioning team and the alignment of processes across our Data Centre clients. This includes delivering a planned, programmed, auditable, and structured commissioning approach to ensure all installed M&E project services operate to the highest standards and in full alignment with the design intent.
What you'll do:
- Provide technical support to project engineers and contractors throughout the engineering, construction, and commissioning stages of each project.
- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring full compliance with design specifications and all applicable safety standards.
- Develop and maintain thorough project documentation, including commissioning plans, test reports, and operational manuals.
- Ensure all commissioning documentation and safe systems of work are understood and adhered to by all personnel involved in the activity.
- Lead commissioning activity meetings where required.
- Identify technical issues and escalate them to the National Commissioning Manager or engineering support when systems do not perform as expected or defects are identified during commissioning.
- Conduct tests and inspections, when necessary, to confirm that equipment and systems are correctly installed and operating in line with design requirements.
- Work closely with Project Management Teams to ensure commissioning requirements are clearly communicated, planned, and understood.
