About the role

Are you a mechanical engineer with experience in pharmaceutical or industrial environments? Do you thrive in roles that keep critical facilities running smoothly? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Our mechanical engineers perform all planned and unplanned mechanical engineering activities relating to the running of an efficient contract and supporting client sites.

At EMCOR UK, we’re always on the lookout for talented professionals who can support our mission of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient engineering solutions. Whether it’s boiler rooms, HVAC, pressure or steam systems, or gas engineering, your expertise could make a real difference.

What you'll do:

  • Support site teams with planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability of services.
  • Carry out installation works and troubleshoot mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  •  Prepare technical quotations and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  •  Maintain a safety-first approach, working to defined systems and escalating issues when necessary.
  •  Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all activities.
  •  Provide technical guidance to colleagues and apprentices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Who you'll be:

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Hands-on experience in building services or industrial environments, including steam and water systems.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Proven ability to work in regulated environments (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
  • Willingness to attain Authorised Person (Pressure Systems) status during probation.

If you’re passionate about engineering excellence and want to be part of a team that values safety, reliability, and innovation, we’d love to connect. Even if we don’t have an immediate opening, we’re always building relationships with skilled professionals for future opportunities.
