Duties/Responsibilities

 Location: Eastleigh Hampshire, Will require travel across the South including London- Full UK Driving license is essential - Must be willing to travel UK wide with some overnight stays required

 Salary: £45,000 per annum DOE  PLUS CAR ALLOWANCE

 Working hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

Job Purpose:

As a HSW Mobilisation Advisor you will work closely with the Project Manager on the mobilisation of Sub-contractors and Key staff at the start of each project have had the necessary training to carry out the tasks.

Duties:
 
  • General daily tasks of the running of Mission Critical Projects
  • Successful management of all Mission Critical Projects
  • Mobilisation and Health and Safety of Mission Critical Projects
  • High Level Accountabilities:

    • To effectively assist the HSW Mobilisation Manager in the mobilisation and transition of new Project Work in line with the established Standard Operating Procedure and accredited project management principles.
    • To successfully assist and complete effective account recoveries and various change initiatives as and when required.
    • To support EMCOR UK’s Business Development team in selling EMCOR UK’s Mobilisation and Transition product to new and existing clients.
    • To be an effective member of EMCOR UK’s Operational Support Group and complete wider activities to support the strategy of this team.
     

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • To effectively establish and manage EMCOR’s relationship with the client.
    • To review and understand the commercial obligations for contractual service delivery.
    • To assist the HSW Mobilisation Manager in designing the account specific mobilisation programme pack, which reflects the Project scope and agreed processes.
    • To assist the HSW Mobilisation Manager in designing and implementing the account specific change governance and communications plan.
    • To co-ordinate and manage all specialist and SME activity. Oversee, update and own the day to day management arrangements for this activity to ensure that all service stream activities are completed
    • To assume the role of an SME as an when required
    • To complete 100% of allocated service stream activities within the programme
    • Ensure that the asset verification process is effectively managed and completed successfully
    • Prepare and manage contract and site-specific risk register during mobilisation phase and hand these to project lead once steady state has been achieved.
    • Prepare regular internal status reports identifying current and potential risk and opportunity
    • To assist the HSW Mobilisation Manager in designing and implementing recovery plans and change projects.

    Health & Safety

    • Act as Site HSE representative to ensure that all operational elements of the EMCOR UK business meet with high standards of HSE at all times
    • Promote and develop EMCOR UK Global Culture of Zero Accidents philosophy and culture, by implementing Behavioural Based Systems at Site Level and promoting “Changing the Way we Work Concepts”
    • Carryout Compliance Audits and accident investigations to ensure statutory and company compliance with IMS
    • Advise contract management on all Health and Safety Legal requirements that effect the business operation
    • Promote a culture of full compliance and continual improvement for all HSE requirements, ensuring compliance with legislation and company HSE policies is maintained and practiced at all times
    • Implement corporate HSE&Q requirements, initiatives & objectives to all associated BU operational activity Development of site-specific procedures and documentation to control work and manage risk of all operational activities
    • Maintain and promote compliance to all H&S legislation, EMCOR UK policy and professional associations codes of practice
    • Ensure each Project has H&S File along with CDM regulations if required.

     
     
     

    Person Specification

    To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
     
     
    • Project Management accredited
    • NEBOSH accredited
    • Knowledge of CDM
    • Extensive experience within a Projects Account Management role as well as a Change Management role
    • Thorough technical knowledge, plus relevant experience, of the operation and maintenance of a Project environment.
    • Demonstrable management and leadership training (ideally ILM5 accredited)
    • Knowledge of the current legislation and mandatory standards relating to safe working practices.
    • Coaching / Development of staff on H&S
