Location: Remote with some Travel around North West/National
Salary: £60,000 DOE + car allowance
Working hours: 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
EMCOR UK are looking for an Estimator with M&E or Buildings & Civils experience to support on our growing project portfolios across the UK. This role is to support the growth targets for the Northern Projects team. To be located in the North West and commutable to Barrow In Furnace.
The successful candidate will have a good all round estimation capability and the ability to produce robust quality project proposals to include Cat A-B fit outs, M&E, fabric, decoration, construction, flooring etc
What you will do:
- To manage the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management.
- Propose innovative solutions to deliver client requirements.
- Provide information and prepare and compilation of proposal submissions including solution and option appraisal of new methods of FM Service delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options.
- Proactive approach to the continuous improvement in communications, management procedures and systems to maximise profitability and improve operational efficiencies.
- Management of the implementation of ‘best practice’ arising from consultation and liaison with external bodies and other EFS divisions.
- Management of the implementation of common practice across the division to ensure meaningful commercial and operational datum’s are established.
- Use of EMCOR BMF Estimating package / system to verify validity of bids.
- Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs.
- Read and understand the client requests / documentation.
- Formulate bid based on BDM brief where required.
