Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the installation of critical infrastructure systems to EUK high standards and within scope and budgetary confinements. As well as be responsible for the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework systems in various industrial and data centre environments.
What you'll do:
- Plan, lay out, and install pipework systems according to technical drawings and P&IDs.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required shape using hand and power tools.
- Fabricate and assemble pipe spools and supports from technical drawings.
- Join pipes and fittings using various techniques, including welding (TIG, MIG), brazing, soldering, and flanged connections.
- Install and secure pipes, fittings, valves, and related equipment to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
- Conduct pressure tests (hydrostatic or pneumatic) to ensure system integrity and leak-free operation.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing piping systems.
- Work with a variety of pipe materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, and various plastics (e.g., ABS, PVC).
- Responsible for ensuring that installations are of a high standard and in accordance to regulatory and legislative guidelines
- Responsible to ensure that all project documentation is maintained and updated to ensure accurate compilation of O&M and commissioning documentation.
