Role overview
To supervise a professional security officer team, which carry out daily tasks as specified to create a safe and secure working environment for all visitors and staff, whilst always ensuring good customer service is provided whilst doing this.
What you’ll do:
- Display excellent situational awareness and strong problem-solving ability

Demonstrate a consistent commitment to high standards of customer service, professional presentation, and confidentiality

Facilitate access and egress to the client’s estate while maintaining strong client-facing and customer service skills

Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support service provision

Carry out duties including access control, front of house, fire warden responsibilities, building patrols, compliance checks, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, car park management, and escorting

Monitor for protest or demonstration activity and respond or escalate as appropriate

Assist staff, guests, contractors, and public bodies by providing information, directions, and professional responses to queries

Maintain full knowledge of client and company procedures and policies, and ensure team members are trained accordingly

Support operations during major incidents as required

Maintain accurate records and logs; review and ensure quality of incident reports before submission

Uphold and protect client confidentiality at all times

Display a valid SIA licence at all times while on duty

Participate in staff welfare and development programmes and complete mandatory training; ensure team compliance

Use communication tools (e.g., radios and phones) clearly and confidently

Provide guidance and direction to the security team as needed

Attend client meetings when requested

Act with integrity at all times
