A senior technical data and fibre technician providing supervision of technicians involved in delivery of data coms solutions in construction and project services
Qualified for fibre optical termination and testing to industry standard level, including fusion splicing and fault diagnosis using Fluke and OTDR software.
Qualified and experienced in Data cabling installation up to a minimum of Cat 6a performance levels including installation practices, testing and fault diagnosis
Able to demonstrate and articulate a working knowledge of standards and industry practices in the field and be able to review and assess projects on a technical installation level
Support and supervise other installation engineers when working as Project Lead, maintain a positive attitude, be responsible for project delivery and ensure compliance and good practices are maintained.
Possess a good understanding and working knowledge of approved and compliant containment systems, their installation and design at a site level.
Provide management support and technical assistance in estimating, technical submittals and design following British and ISO standards.
Able to work independently or part of a team and should be flexible and willing to ensure customer satisfaction, that could include overtime working, and staying away when required.
Must be willing to engage in further development programs in all aspects of delivery including, new systems, technical updates, project management and commercial aspects
An ambassador for H&S, must maintain CSCS/ECA qualification and possess an effective knowledge and understanding of safe working practices when attending or working on site.
Must have positive outlook in client engagement to ensure all procedures and processes are followed.
