Location: Siemens Energy Wind Power - Hull, UK portfolio (Hull Hub)

Salary: £60,000pa DOE + Car Allowance

Working hours: Monday to Friday 0730-1630

Job Purpose:
 
  • To effectively manage a portfolio of business, ensure high quality service standards and delivery.
  • Manage and deliver agreed sales, performance, KPI’s and profit targets.                         
  • Ensure compliance with the agreement between EMCOR UK and the client.           
  • Manage resources and promote an ethos of teamwork and to instil a culture of continuous improvement. To offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and to develop the team so that they can achieve their full potential.                                             
  • To develop a relationship with both client and customer built on trust and transparency in addition to contributing to the development and success of EMCOR UK in line with the contract governance framework.       
 
What you'll do:
 
 
  • Provide reports as required, covering people, client, health and safety, and financial information.
  • Coordinate service delivery across the contract, managing risks and mitigation actions, and escalate when necessary.
  • Deputise for the account manager as required.
  • Support the account manager in achieving challenging growth plans through strategic and enterprising management.
  • Manage the supply chain to ensure value for money, supplier performance, and compliance with company procurement procedures.
  • Drive innovation, vision, leadership, business development, and best practices across the client portfolio.
  • Monitor and achieve contract P&L targets, report financial exceptions, and provide necessary financial information.
  • Ensure the team understands financial responsibilities and implement actions to meet EMCOR UK and client budget targets.
  • Build organisational capacity for service delivery and maintenance of all assets under the contract.
  • Oversee internal and external service delivery teams to ensure continuous quality improvement and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, maintaining operational integrity (IMS, H&S, ISO14001, legislative compliance).
  • Evaluate data and operational performance monthly, implementing documented action plans for any deviations.
  • Deliver service in line with contractual commitments and client expectations, ensuring high customer satisfaction through proactive service.
  • Develop and inspire a professional team to meet personal and business targets through mentoring, coaching, and appraising.
  • Provide clear operational direction and encourage a “One Team” ethos, promoting teamwork and task ownership.
  • Ensure regular communication with staff, covering contract performance and corrective actions.
  • Set and regularly review performance objectives for team members, conducting annual appraisals for direct reports.
  • Provide technical and operational support, including regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to standards (MOS).
  • Implement and manage mobilisation and demobilisation plans for service or portfolio changes.
  • Identify operational improvements and enhancements for continuous improvement and align with industry best practices.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, minimizing risks and ensuring staff safety.
  • Regularly monitor EHS compliance in collaboration with the EHS Manager.

    Who you'll be:
     
    • Recognised management or leadership qualification 
    • Strong management and interpersonal skills to effectively provide leadership to the organisation and subordinate’s staff.
    • Experience in technical compliance and activities.
    • Capability to be pro-active in the resolution of operational and technical problems and disputes as they may arise from time to time (with clients and staff).                                                   
    • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and strong capability to effectively manage client and subordinate relationships.                                                                         
    • Sound I.T. and related skills and competency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
    • Experience in managing a large TFM contract, preferably of an industrial portfolio
    • Recognised Health & Safety qualification, IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum, NEBOSH General Cert desirable
