  • Manage projects end-to-end: design, tender, installation, commissioning, completion, and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with EMCOR UK procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and CDM legislation.
  • Review and enforce RAMS for all works, conducting regular site inspections.
  • Coordinate out-of-hours or weekend work, ensuring subcontractor control and site security.
  • Oversee permits to work and ensure correct operation.
  • Plan procurement and resources to meet contract requirements.
  • Maintain quality control systems and accurate records for audits.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Who you'll be:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, with demonstrated operational and technical capability.
  • A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or craft skill.
  • Proven success in managing multi-trade extra works and minor projects.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to adapt to changing environments.
  • Ability to liaise with and supervise contractors effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and safe working practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to inspire and motivate others.
  • Solid IT skills, particularly across the Microsoft suite.
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Experience developing scopes of work, estimating costs, and delivering projects successfully.
  • Working knowledge of building services systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, building fabric) and relevant legislation such as Building Regulations.
  • Health & Safety (CDM) experience sufficient to manage extra works effectively.
